Ex 13:17; Deut. 8:2; Deut. 1:26,28; Numbers 21:4,5 Scripture passage: Psalm 37:3-9 (NIV) Sermon Theme: Why do we have to wait for God to answer our requests? If He hears them immediately and has the power and ability to act immediately why does He delay in answering? I suggest that His delay is by design. God uses the waiting time to prepare us for the circumstances we are not equipped to handle at present and to test us in our faith and obedience. The test of our maturity is how well we handle the waiting rooms of our lives.
